For the month of April, Aquaray Plant of the Month takes us to California to showcase a wastewater treatment plant using Aquaray 3X. This plant, located in the San Joaquin Valley, treats municipal wastewater of ~150,000 residents. The Aquaray 3X meets California's Title 22 regulations, allowing the reclaimed non potable water to be used as an additional water source for the city. In addition, the activated sludge process utilizes Veolia's ZeeWeed membrane bioreactor. This wastewater treatment plant serves as an excellent example of how Veolia's expertise in water treatment can be harnessed to create sustainable solutions for water management. In this issue of ZeeWeed Customer Spotlight we travel to California. After decades of outsourcing its wastewater treatment to Napa, the City of American Canyon decided to build a plant of their own. With the new wastewater treatment plant the city would be able to economically and environmentally recycle municipal and industrial wastewater in a sustainable way. The wastewater treatment plant needed to meet Title 22 strict requirements as the effluent would be diverted to urban and agricultural applications. Visit the link to learn how ZeeWeed technologies and Veolia services provided a solution that allows the Customer to meet their environmental goals. https://bit.ly/3ZYVXqI #ZeeWeed #MBR #sustainablesolutions

With the implementation of the Sievers TOC-R3 online process analyzer, a distillery found a faster and more efficient method to detect process variability in their wastewater in order to prevent organic overloading in their new anaerobic digesters during biological treatment. With the TOC-R3's ability to handle complex and variable sample matrices and provide real-time information to make faster decisions, this method offers significant advantages over Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). Check out our case study to learn more about organics monitoring for upset detection and process control. #TotalOrganicCarbon #WaterMonitoring #WaterQuality #WaterAnalysis #FoodandBeverage https://bit.ly/4aYUw0z
