Kimberly-Clark EUA anuncia primeira “Diretora de Crescimento”

A Kimberly-Clark (EUA) anunciou na última terça-feira 9, que Alison Lewis será a primeira Diretora de Crescimento da companhia.

Lewis liderará a equipe de marketing global da Kimberly-Clark, além de coordenar o setor de pesquisa corporativa no cargo recém-criado. Lewis ingressará oficialmente no final de julho e se tornará membro da equipe de liderança executiva global da Kimberly-Clark.

“Esta nomeação demonstra nosso compromisso de impulsionar o crescimento e a excelência na forma como inventamos, comercializamos e vendemos nossos produtos em todo o mundo. Alison traz uma riqueza de experiência de marca para esta nova posição em nossa equipe sênior. Estou confiante de que ela nos ajudará a colocar todo o poder de nossa escala empresarial por trás de nosso maior produto, prometer e canalizar ideias de inovação”, disse o CEO Michael Hsu.


 

Anteriormente, Lewis atuou como diretora de marketing da Johnson & Johnson no setor de consumo global. Antes da Johnson & Johnson, Lewis foi CMO e vice-presidente sênior da The Coca-Cola Company na América do Norte. Lewis trabalhou na Kraft Foods em várias funções de gerenciamento de marca antes de ingressar na equipe da Coca-Cola.

Hsu assumiu o papel de chefe executivo no final de 2018 como parte de um plano de sucessão, substituindo Thomas J. Falk, que atuava no cargo desde 2002. A Kimberly-Clark também contratou recentemente a Shonn Brown  como sua vice-conselheira geral depois de trabalhar na Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst. A Kimberly-Clark foi fundada há 147 anos e fornece seus produtos para consumidores em mais de 175 países.


Kimberly-Clark names first chief growth officer

Irving-based Kimberly-Clark Corp. (NYSE: KMB) announced Alison Lewis will serve as its first chief growth officer, the company announced Tuesday.

Lewis will lead Kimberly-Clark’s global marketing team, build marketing capabilities and lead corporate research in the newly created position. Lewis will officially join at the end of July and will become a member of Kimberly-Clark’s global executive leadership team.

“This appointment demonstrates our commitment to drive growth and excellence in the way we invent, market and sell our products across the world,” CEO Michael Hsu said in a prepared statement.

“Alison brings a wealth of brand experience to this new position on our senior team. I’m confident she will help us put the full power of our enterprise scale behind our biggest product, promise and channel innovation ideas,” Hsu said.

Lewis previously served as chief marketing officer at Johnson & Johnson of the Global Consumer business since 2013. Before Johnson & Johnson, Lewis was CMO and senior VP of the The Coca-Cola Company in North America. Lewis served at Kraft Foods in multiple brand management roles before joining the Coke team.

The personal care business, which creates products for brands such as Kleenex and Cottonelle, has undergone a few shifts in its leadership ranks over the past six months.

Hsu took on the chief executive role at the end of 2018 as part of a succession plan, replacing Thomas J. Falk, who had served in the role since 2002.

Kimberly-Clark also recently hired A. Shonn Brown to serve as its deputy general counsel after working at Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst, The Texas Lawbook reported.

Kimberly-Clark was founded 147 years ago, and delivers its products to consumers in more than 175 countries.
